Daffodil Day
Daffodil day
Daffodil day to me is a day were we wear yellow

to honour respect everyone that had or has cancer.
For me I wear yellow for my grandma who was a survivor for 9 years but recently lost the battle on may the 16th. I think that daffodil day is a great way to bring everyone together with the cancer society and cancer foundation. I also love how the cancer society does a shave for a cure and movember with is were you shave your hair off or shave your beard, I recently shaved my head on August the 14th. Our school Otaki College is celebrating it with a gold coin mufty and a bake and cooking sale at lunch time.

Enviromental Issue
Plastic waste is creating pollution all around OUR earth, but were working to stop it.
Plastic pollution is created with non wanted plastic waste, hard plastic that we cant break up and the worst of them all plastic bags. All of our shops give out over 6,000 plastic bags each year which adds to more than 500,000 plastic bags getting given out all around the world. To stop this our shops should be offering more hemmed or sewed bags and you might think that thats not going to stop it all but it will start our movement.
The government says that they hope by early next year the plastic bags will be fully gone but theres only about 14 places in the world that have stopped using them. Hopefully by 2020 all of our plastic bags should be gone says our priminister Jacinda Adern.
The first stops of this process

The first stops of this process
- Use biodegradable and plant based plastic even though it needs hot soil to break down it will still be a great start
- Ban plastic bags in all countries
- Create a beach clean up team
- And last of all just take a cotton or sewed bag
Here are some facts
Every year over 150 turtles and fish die because our plastic ends up in the ocean and they either eat it because they think its food or suffocate themselves.
The plastic is creating toxic chemicals in the air and starting to give people cancer and deseases.
Michelle: Good work sheina it may have been a little bit too long but interesting still

My Holidays
In the holidays I decided to get baptised. It was really nerve racking when I had to get on stage and say why but there was six other people getting baptised too so it wasnt that bad. The most nerve racking part was when I was waiting to be outside of the pool for my turn. But a sad part in the holidays was when i had to go to the palmeston north cremation center.

This Is my cat Casper and as you can tell she is fully white, fluffy and fat.
Shes really cute.
She gets a bit skeptical but once your pating her you have her heart.
But the bonus about her she hates birds so theres none on my doorstep.
My Review On Maths?
Statistics:
I guess what I like about statistics is our dot plot graphs and the data that we gather because we are asking other people their oppinions and not really forcing it I guess.
