Daffodil day
Daffodil day to me is a day were we wear yellow

to honour respect everyone that had or has cancer.
For me I wear yellow for my grandma who was a survivor for 9 years but recently lost the battle on may the 16th. I think that daffodil day is a great way to bring everyone together with the cancer society and cancer foundation. I also love how the cancer society does a shave for a cure and movember with is were you shave your hair off or shave your beard, I recently shaved my head on August the 14th. Our school Otaki College is celebrating it with a gold coin mufty and a bake and cooking sale at lunch time.

ReplyDeleteGood job with shaving your head for a cure for cancer.
ReplyDeleteWow what an amazing event for you to remember for the rest of your life. Having your Mum there would have been the icing on the cake. So well written Sheina, very touching.
